My image in Ghibli style

Lately my timeline feed feels like it’s from a Studio Ghibli film. AI-generated images capture mountain villages, forests, and children with wide eyes full of wonder — scenes that feel pulled from a Miyazaki dream.

The detail is enchanting. The mood is magical. And the style? Unmistakably Ghibli. 🎨

Behind the charm is a quiet tension. These images are not drawn by hand, nor guided by animators. They are born from algorithms — trained, often indiscriminately, on the works of the very artists they now emulate. Without credit. Without consent.

Where does inspiration end and imitation begin? ⁉️

AI has opened up doors for creativity, but it has also blurred the lines between creation and re-creation. When a machine can conjure beauty in the style of legends, do we celebrate or do we ask: whose legacy is being borrowed, and who gets to benefit?

If we’re to build a future where technology and artistry coexist, we owe it to creators to have honest conversations about ownership, consent, and the invisible hands behind the art. 🖼️

What’s your opinion on using ai for art creation? 🤔
